With the Wrath of the Lich King Classic fast approaching, Blizzard continues to slowly unveil new items for this version of World of Warcraft. On Monday, June 13, 2022, the developers announced some great news: new so-called “new” servers are planned, something some players are eager to restart without the horrors of the realms. Implant!
We take it all away and start over
In anticipation of Beta announcements or certain elements partially revealed during recent interviews concerning Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Blizzard has chosen to express itself on the state of the servers. It’s Monday, June 13, 2022. And not at all: the disclosure clearly indicates that their intention is to deploy “Fresh” servers as soon as the Expansion PrePatch is distributed (release date unknown).
The idea mirrors Blizzard’s WoW Classic Era, which allows players to start from scratch on a server where everyone else is doing the same. Thus, all players who want to do this start from the same point, and no one should be afraid, especially economically, of the possible problems that players will encounter during the previous expansion without touching the game!
Temporary Server Isolation
Because these servers are available from PrePatch, Blizzard reiterated that all abilities and technologies are available with “new” expansions. However, to access these areas, players must reload the character from level 1 and level up as normal. Migration to these servers will be activated later, but some restrictions will be applied temporarily to avoid any problems inherent in this service:
- Sesame seeds should not be used in so-called “new” areas for at least 90 days.
- Domains designated as “new” for at least 90 days will not be able to host character migrations
The opportunity also shows that Death Knight, a class introduced in the wrath of King Leach, cannot be used in these realms until the player has at least one level 55 character there. . However, this will remove “not new” domains like Sulfuron or Firemaw.
