Today is Tuesday, May 24, 2022, Build 43810, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Patch 9.2.5 is rolling out to the PTR. If it is trivial and does not bring anything particularly new, it does bring an interesting element: the first “release candidate compilation”. Concretely, this means that patchwork is inevitable!

Isn’t the release date so banal?
After nearly two months of access to WoW’s test realms, the latest update to the Shadowlands expansion will finally happen if the placement of this mysterious structure is to be believed. This, of course, is just speculation based on what we’re used to from Blizzard, and if the method remains unchanged from previous patches, that could mean it’s less than two weeks after the official release. from patch 9.2.5.
From our point of view, we anticipate that this highly anticipated patch (especially and above all a cross-episode game, but also an extraordinary season 4) will be released at the latest. Wednesday, June 8, 2022Two weeks after the arrival of this curious building!
The latest updates follow the layout table below:
It is important to clarify that the 9.0.1 prepatch may be an exception to the rule: it is a prepatch and given the delay in Shadowlands, the release date may also be a little delayed. For all other new patches, and even for Azeroth globally, this “coverage” of “release candidate” layouts looks correct two weeks before the game actually hits our servers.
A more interesting moment with the Dragonflight expansion, a few days before the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, such a layout could mean that the announcement of the next World of Warcraft expansion is due at the conference. For example, the new alpha expansion, let’s be crazy!
