Ditto, “April Fools 2-Oh?-22” briefly conquered Pokemon GO locations on Friday, April 1.
Trainers hosted another Ditto headline event on April 1, 2022. During April 1 — from 12 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time — Trainers were able to enjoy a new installment of the special investigation. Suspicious wild encounters and of course the chance to catch the brilliant Dito.

The same thing happened more frequently in nature on the first day of April – however, in a way the trainers were unaware of. As usual, this Pokémon has chosen a possible appearance, including the following featured Pokémon:
Players also have access to a special research line led by Professor Willow, or at least a creature resembling her. The official Pokemon GO news blog asked if this is really the case and if there is a trainer.
“We no longer understand what Dito is and what he is not,” the blog post read.
Trainers can also get unique Ditto-themed stickers by spinning PokeStops.
Luckily, trainers who missed this event didn’t miss the chance to add this Pokémon to their PokeDex. Although rare, Ditto looks just as wild as it does during the event, and it looks like Niantic Labs has decided to introduce this Pokémon as the annual April Fool’s Day star.
