During Alola Season, Niantic Labs made a research post inspired by each island in the region.
The latest season of content in Pokemon GO has kicked off, and trainers are already trying to complete every inch of the Alola season. Some, or perhaps fragments, of the newly released content includes themed research arcs for each of the five islands in the Alola region.
The first arc shows the island of Melemele.
Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew will be released in March #PokemonGOCommunityDay March 13!
Found in the snowy mountains, the Alola Sandshrew is also more common in the wild!#SeasonOfAlola
