The Pokemon Company and Niantic Labs have announced the next in-game season of the augmented reality mobile game Pokemon GO.
The announcement was made during the Pokemon Presents show, which took place on February 27, Pokemon Day. Fans of all Pokemon platforms and franchises were greeted with updates to the latest release of their favorite game – Pokemon Legends: Arceus – spin-off friendly mobile – Pokemon Cafe Remix – and everything in between.

Pokemon GO’s “Alola Season” will begin on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 and run through the end of May and end on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
The following bonuses will be active throughout the season:
Any activity in the GO Battle League will be “silent and soothing”. Niantic explained that it wants both new and experienced trainers to be able to use GO Battle this season, so instead of the status quo, GO Battle’s Alola season “will not have ratings, but will have a unique set of abilities. And experienced coaches, join the competition.
Trainers will also be able to purchase an Alola-inspired avatar item that includes Comfey.
During Alola Season, different habitats produce different Pokémon. Niantic has divided them into four distinct landforms with the addition of special species from the northern and southern hemispheres, respectively.
