You can get a patch cable in several different ways. First, you can get it as a reward with a “ghost encounter” request. This requirement requires you to earn 10 points for Gastly’s Pokedex registration. When you do this and complete the application, you will receive a connection cable.

Another way to get it is to use your merit points. You can redeem your merit points for a sweater by visiting Simona at Jubilife Village. You will need to collect lost bags and return them throughout the game to earn merit points.

Once you have the connection cable, you will be able to upgrade your Graveler. By using the Link Cord and attaching it to your Graveler, it automatically indicates that the Pokemon is ready to evolve. If you follow these steps, you should evolve this Pokemon and turn it into a Golem.
