Bosnian cousin duo Nikola “Niko” Kovac and Nemanja “Hunter” Kovac have renewed their contracts with G2 Esports CS:GO, the European Sports Organization announced on Saturday.
G2’s announcement did not specify any new terms for the seemingly lucrative deals, but it comes at a crucial time when PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and the $1m prize pool will be released on May 9.

Between the two rifles, the huNter is the longest rifle ever with the G2 released by CR4ZY in September 2019.
After working with FaZe Clan for three years, Nico gave outstanding performances by joining in November 2020 and won the Top 15 HLTV Player of the Year award with his cousin once in the past two years.
Individual success aside, the star duo have yet to win a G2 title together, becoming runners-up in several tournaments including IEM Cologne 2021, PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and most recently IEM Katowice 2022.
In January, G2 initially announced their updated roster for the new year, sending longtime members Nemanja “nexa” Isaković and François “AMANEK” Delaunay to drop new IGL Alexi “Aleksib” Virolainen and new AWPer Ilya” m0NESY” Osipov.
Entering the PGL Antwerp Major rankings as the sixth best team in the world, G2 will try to spoil their fate against Team Liquid from the Challengers Stage.
