A popular object that hinders game progress and that the public wants to remove

One of the things that makes League of Legends special is the relationship between the community and the developers. Riot Games staff often receive criticism or suggestions from players and are transparent about how the game works. This has led to many transformations, which are actually born from the players themselves. A situation involving the removal of a repeatable, ubiquitous object with an interesting idea.

Should bots disappear in League of Legends?

Player advice is simple: bots should be removed. At first glance, the reaction can be dismissed. However, the proposal makes more sense than it seems. After all, it’s not just a public opinion. In fact, the player who came up with the idea combines his loyalty to League of Legends and spends several hours playing Smite, the slightly different MOBA from Riot Games.

In a way, all champions would be Cassiopeia - League of Legends
For some reason all champions would be Cassiopeia

It is clear that the removal of the boots will be followed by a general correction. A few runes and all champions require adjustments, including the need to create a new pass for Cassiopia. That said, it won’t be that hard to implement and will still leave room for some cool new stuff that can have passive effects of a special nature, like mobility or speed. In contrast, League of Legends would win in many areas.

Robots are an indispensable element for almost all characters, and their effect is not satisfactory. More running is good and we all know that helps. But after Flash, it’s the only item we use in every match in the game. We don’t because it’s interesting and it doesn’t make games more fun. At this point, Riot Games says it will never make any changes to Flash this time.

League of Legends

Removing the boots forever will give you two great opportunities. On the one hand, we would have an extra slot to buy items and we would be stronger when the games were delayed. On the other hand, it will be necessary to spend less than 900 – 1100 gold coins to quickly reach the peak of power of the three elements. For comparison, Cassiopeia and Ahri have similar profit margins, with the difference in base gold values for the three items being only 400. However, Snake Hugs achieve their third goal over 77% of the time, while Nine-Tailed Fox Hugs only succeed 51% of the time.

This is of course a very interesting change that League of Legends can take advantage of. It is true that Riot Games will have to adjust the balance and watch the champions for a few patches to fix power peaks. However, it is a sacrifice that can be worth it. An employee of the developer said that he hadn’t thought of it since he was working on it (2 years), but who knows if this community suggestion will help them in their work. After all, this won’t be the first time Riot has attempted to modify the publicly recommended game.
