League of Legends Patch 12.8 Changes Overview

League of Legends patch 12.8 officially released on April 27, but thankfully we got a glimpse of what to expect. RiotPhlox has posted a top on champ buffs, nerfs, and changes we’ll see in the next patch.

This patch will see ADCs like Ezreal, Tristana, and Jhin and their nephews Jinx and Xayah. Xayah and Jinx have long been strong picks in top-tier games and are consistently ranked high on sites like METAsrc and U.GG. We can see nerds and fans of other ADC champions as an attempt to diversify the bot lineup a bit more in the next patch.

Ezreal hasn’t been particularly reliable in picking ADC, so hopefully his fans will give him more of a chance to shine than before. We also see that AP Kai’Sa has made some adjustments. Although Kai’sa hasn’t been playing well in midfield lately, this adjustment can be made in hopes of getting back into the bot lane.

Fans of other famous champions include Mordecaiser’s passive movement speed, Cassadine’s Q shield, Xerath’s surprise duration, and Sylas R’s cooldown reduction.

Aatrox, Seraphine, and Pyke were originally intended to include (first two casting buffs, second – nerf), but these changes were reverted before release.
