Everyone knows what it’s like to be in AFK League of Legends, and every player hopes they won’t be part of the team at the start of the game, especially in ranked play. Willingly or not (those without boxes fall) it can happen to us too, but either way the results can be disastrous..
Coincidentally or not, some champions have a higher AFK rating than others, and here’s a list of the characters they miss the most.
Best LoL AFK Champion
According to League of Graphs, Rek’Sai is the champion with the most AFK in League of Legends. This should beg the question: why are these players so far away from the keyboard?
Janna is not far behind Void Stalker at 1.36%. Gwen and Li Xin also held rates above 1% at 1.10% and 1.04%, respectively – and Gin isn’t far behind at 0.95%.
The second half of this top 10 is slightly lower. Olaf and Xin Zhao share the same figure, 0.89%, Yasuo 0.87%, Ezreal 0.85% and Yone 0.82%.
AFK queued solo/duo
Another stat offered by the site is the AFK percentage by region and ranking. We have the lowest AFK in Japan at just 2.4% – on the contrary, Turkey have AFK in almost 10% of matches, at 9.87% to be exact. At home, we are doing quite well with an average of 5%.
In terms of rankings, the observation is clear: the lower the ELO, the more players there are. If the rate in diamond is only 2.2%, it reaches more than 10% in iron. Unrated players are still the worst at 14.5%.
And in Flex?
The rating is virtually unchanged. Only the South American region deteriorates, becoming the place where we find the most AFK at 7.9%. Japan is still holding its own and is in the last part of the ranking.
As for ELO, same observation, if there are not yet any players classified and starting matches on the ground, 1 player out of 2 will decide to leave, which is enormous.
It’s never nice to pay an AFK player during a game. But even worse, we consider, for example, players who like and are interested in pleasing some of their teammates. Them, we still prefer that he go and try to save the furniture.
In short, make sure you can finish the starting game and try to stay calm even if your team crashes, starts attacking, or gets burned. Silence/everything is always useful!
