After performing poorly due to changes in the League of Legends 12.7 patch, Zeri has received a major update in the form of a hotfix. The champion was one of the worst in the history of the game as he failed to achieve a 44% win rate despite the level of the players. It’s alarming that the studio is trying to stop him by slightly increasing his skill stats, but not changing his new identity, which focuses more on critical hits than combat targets.
New Changes to Zeri
Zeri has become one of the hardest champions to balance in Riot Games history. His early days in Summoner’s Rift were frustrating due to his unique playstyle, but as players learned to play his game, he began to dominate the bot line.. Its performance was so phenomenal and its mechanics so frustrating for the audience. As such, it has collected seven changes (more than one per patch) since its release in Patch 12.2. Huge transformations that are a little frustrating for players who value a champion.
The following changes were made to the emergency patch distributed by Riot Games on April 15, 2022:
Once again, These are large-scale changes aimed at changing the wave of the champion.. Riot Games has been overly aggressive due to the large number of audio bans on ranked games, but mostly due to League of Legends’ presence in the competitive circle. Professional gamers haven’t stopped using it, and with MSI 2022 fast approaching, the studio wanted to make sure it wouldn’t dominate the competitive meta tournament. It also caused Ryze’s controversial nerf to be equal to or worse than ADC.
Find out if these are the last major changes over a given period, and if Riot Games will still have to act in the weeks to come. He is certainly one of the most exciting and unique champions in League of Legends, but his mechanics cost Riot Games dearly.
