Stage 1
legendary essence: Gems and prestige points are combined in a new currency which is never valid. Your remaining gems will automatically transform into a legendary creature at a ratio of 1 to 10, but your prestige points will be lost. After upgrading, Mythic Essence will replace Gems and Prestige Points wherever these two currencies appear as loot or rewards. Mythic Essence drop rates from Master Chests will be temporarily increased to compensate for the removal of Prestige Points from packs.
Legendary Shop, Prestige Removal, and Legendary Themes: A gem store will be replaced by a legendary store with rotating content.
Prestige covers without belt: Prestige skins released at least one year ago are allowed in the Mythic store. Two prestige will be canceled each month. Here’s how the legendary gas price works:
The prestige of 2018 and 2019 starts from a higher level to respect their superior exclusivity and the difficulty of obtaining them. Additionally, when these prestiges are unlocked, the original owners will receive specially modified versions of the skins. These modified versions will not be available for Mythic Essence and the termination of the original ownership will be one patch before the Mythic Essence transition.
For starters, the first three basements were removed at the same time, meaning six prestige skins were considered in three months:
Legendary Theme Skins: Ancient Gem skins also alternately unlock twice in the Mythic Shop, but change quarterly instead of monthly. They will start at 100 ME for their first ban and cost 125 ME for their next comeback. The first bottling will be Hextech Annie and Hextech Amumu. Additionally, the Hextech theme was released, introducing new seasonal themes for Mythic Essence custom skins. The legendary theme for 2022 is the Ashen Knights. The launch of the new Legendary-themed skin returns at the beginning and end of each quarter.
Seasonal room and atmosphere: Rotating Mythic themed Episode skin will be available up to 50 ME per year and Legendary themed Emotion available for 25 ME.
other stuff: You can still spend Legendary Essence for Hextech Chest (5 ME), Hextech Key (5 ME), 50 Orange Essence (1 ME), or 150 Blue Essence (1 ME).
Slip and Release Exclusive: In addition to Legacy Prestiges in the Mythic Shop, Riot will remove Legendary skins, including Prestige skins, from loot pools, including hits. In the future, when you see something described as “special”, that means the only way to get it is with the tools originally described. The only exception will be the window at the start of next season, when prestigious and legendary skins that have been on the market for at least a year will temporarily reappear in the lottery and scroll pools. Old orbs and event pods in your inventory that work with the ability to drop legendary and prestigious skins that were released at the time will have a chance to drop those skins as we will not go back and recode them booty. Normal Hextech and Masterwork chests will stop downloading these skins as soon as Mythic Essence pops.
Phase 2
Prestige 2.0: Prestige skins are on the rise. Riot is experimenting with a new themed overlay to help Prestige feel more separate from the golden chrome. Prestige 2.0 skins are a trendy take on the base theme, as if it were a red carpet or catwalk theme. Additionally, Riot is increasing the value of Prestiges, including brand new promotional images!
Show stages: Take showcase events like PROJECT 2021 or Battle Academia from Prestige Point packs to the reward track that progresses as event capsules unlock. The skins that will be released for prestige points are now exclusive Unleash it as the final reward on the showcase stage reward tracks. The Exhibition History Track is designed to match the same amount of loot you need to purchase through Capsule Packs to earn 100 Prestige in 2021, but comes with additional loot rewards. These price traces look like this:
Masterwork Milestones is an infinitely repeatable reward track for opening Masterwork Chests. Riot is currently planning the following issues:
When Masterwork stages begin, Mythic Essence drop rates will return to normal from Masterwork boards. As each chest roughly corresponds to a legendary essence, packs give slightly less legendary essence than comparable prestige points (5 ME – 6 PP for 5 packs of chests; 10 + 1 ME – 13 PP – 10 + 1 sets of chests).
Step 3
Event Pass developed: Going through a league event upgrade, hybridizing the Token Shop system, and a more traditional battle pass. Earn XP through games and missions and unlock coins and other rewards as you pass. All rewards spread across different event missions are now combined into 50 reward tiers with paid and free tracks:
The Event Pass will still cost 1650 RP and will contain four Event Orbs and 200 Event Coins. Riot is also keeping the 2650 RP Bundle, which includes the base skin, frame, and event prestige icon.
With the release of patch 12.6, a lot seems to be expected due to legendary content in general.
