Continental League of Legends (LCL), which split in the spring of 2022, was officially canceled due to the war in Ukraine.. Last month’s games were not postponed until after the second week of competition and are now postponed until further notice.
LCL is also on the Worlds isn’t it?
After VCS 2021 (Vietnam League), MSI is cut from the team again. This time it is the LCL that will not be represented in the region after the cancellation of the Spring Split.. LCL has been represented in the last four international competitions I like unicorns.
“After discussions with different teams, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Spring Split of the LCL (League of Legends Continental League). In this difficult time for the region, we believe it is impossible to maintain the championship. Unfortunately, we will share information about the LCL Summer Split format as soon as the opportunity arises.
It is difficult to predict the future of the league until the situation in the region improves. Unfortunately, if the conflict has been going on for months, Riot Games is unlikely to take a summer break. Therefore, we can assume that we won’t see an LCL representative in the 2022 World Championship. Let me remind you that this year it will be held in North America (United States, Canada and Mexico).
