While each lane is important when it comes to winning a League of Legends match, a good synergy between an ADC and a support champion in the bot lane can significantly increase your chances of dominating the stage. Some updates in patch 12.12 and patch 12.12b caused some binary combinations to be reflected in the bot line. Here are the top 5 bot duos in League of Legends patch 12.12, according to U.GG data.
Ash and Renata are relatively easy to play and powerful champions, making them solid picks when combined. Ashe’s Q grants increased attack speed with Renata’s W (which grants both attack speed and movement speed), increasing Ashe’s base damage capacity, allowing her to hunt and quickly destroy enemies.
With only a slightly higher win rate than Ash and Renata, Samira and Renata work well together for similar reasons. Samira’s E grants her attack speed which can be further increased by Renata’s W. Additionally, Samira’s R has the ability to deal a lot of damage incredibly quickly. Pairing this with Renata’s W can allow Samira to quickly take down enemies and retreat in tight situations.
With a 55.66% win rate, Seraphine can create a very powerful combo as an ADC with support from Sena. Seraphine has the ability to root enemies if her E hits an already slowed enemy and stuns already rooted enemies. While Seraphin usually relies on her passive to double tap these abilities and root enemies, Sena’s root W ability allows them to easily stun enemies. Both champions have strong CC and healing abilities, so they have enough stamina and can easily hold off enemies in their attack phase.
While this line of bots may seem unconventional, the Seraphine ADC paired with Sona Support works very well thanks to some healing and protection changes made in patch 12.12 and the pair have a 55.20% win rate. The main strength of these two is their healing. Both Seraphin and Sona have powerful healing abilities, meaning they can sustain themselves and their teams in battles for a long time. While they can struggle on the damage front, the good timing of both ultimates can keep CC enemies going long enough to chase them, and both can hold their own against just about any opponent in lane when they are played correctly.
With a 57% win rate, Tahm Kench and Senna moved up from third place in patch 12.11 to first place as the best robot duo in 12.12. Senna’s E hides allies and grants them movement speed, making them invisible. This, combined with the W power that allows Tahm to dive underground and respawn at the enemy’s location, makes Senna almost unmanageable. Additionally, Tahm’s E combined with Senna’s heal makes it harder to destroy Tahm and makes ADC Tahm Kench and Support Senna a bot lane.
