Battlecat Jinx: praise for canceled skills? –

With Season 12 being excitedly announced, a whole new set of Anima Squad skins are set to land in League of Legends in Patch 12.6. Mainly inspired by Battle Bunny Riven, this collection of cosmetics is highly anticipated by the public as it is arguably the first time that Riot has granted her such artistic freedom with a crazy skin that attracts the attention of various genres. The animals they inspire.

Also, beyond those details that are already bothering audiences, the sinisterly designed skin appears to include an additional Easter egg that looks like a little tribute to one of his blocked talents.

Skin inspired by inspiration?

Outwardly, Battle Cat Jinx doesn’t bring anything new aside from exclusive highly polished cosmetic skins found in most of the latest releases that have landed in the Rift. Still, the animal Riot chose to embody Piltover’s crime seems obvious for one of the early versions. Indeed, at the time of its development, Jinx was not a well-known team. Super Death Rocket! And I had a completely different ultimatum…

In fact, Riot tried four different skills before finally settling on the Rocket we know today. And one of the alternatives was literally called Cat circle. It was a rocket – I wasn’t sure it would do the same damage – it allows you to create a magic smoke zone around the enemy. This smoke turned into enemy champions, like Lulu V, who turned into harmless cats.

The developers liked the aesthetic effect, but they ran into a problem that anyone familiar with Jinx could see clearly: such an ability didn’t match the champion’s identity at all. Years later, however, the cat’s spirit seems to have returned to the Rift. One of the most anticipated skins year.
