The LEC Summer Finals are returning to the live event format after being online only for the past three years.
Riot Games has announced that the LEC Summer Finals will take place on September 10-11, 2022 in Malmö, Sweden. The event marks a return to live, in-person events, after the industry had to hold online-only events in the past. Three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Finally, the Summer Finals made their international debut live in Athens 2019. This year, all main events will take place at Malmö Arena.
Maximilian Schmidt, Head of League of Legends Esports EMEA, said of the announcement: “We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting the 2022 Summer Finals in Malmö, Sweden. As the first roadshow we’ve hosted outside of our Berlin studio in three years, we look forward to providing our fans with an unforgettable experience.

Fan tickets go on sale July 1 at lec.gg/malmo and will go on sale during RDYCHK.
More information about the event and LEC XPO at MalmöMässan Exhibition and Convention Center will be announced by Riot Games in the coming weeks.
