Essence Emporium is a semi-annual sale in League of Legends where players can use their Blue Essence to purchase a variety of special items, from special emotes to skins. As we near the middle of the season, Essence Emporium is back, and here are all the details players need to know.

Riot announced in the 12.12 patch notes that after this Essence Emporium, the Custom Shop will go on hiatus until the team restores it. The notes state that “Running Emporium right now is so inefficient, leading to delays and reduced functionality on other projects like Events and Tasks. In addition to making Emporium more efficient, we’re also exploring navigation and usability improvements for when (if not). Therefore, players should spend all of their blue essence before they can, as there will be plenty of time to accumulate essence before the next Emporium.
