LoL: State of the Game Opinion Poll Shows Interesting Results

A month ago, Reddit user Tannir48 created a poll for LoL players to express their feelings about the game. Although this survey attempts to ensure some fairness in the representation of each category, many specific readings and disagreements have been published on this subject. So, the investigation ended with 5 tank raids, 5 assassins, 5 ADCs (mostly shooters), 5 warriors (rotten), 5 magicians and 2 special characters. In addition to the gameplay difference, the poll was also split by player rating to compare low-level and high-level sentiments.

bonuses

As for the elimination bonuses for champions who dominate the game and/or neutral targets, and the plate system on the outer turrets, the public is quite happy. Answer: Very good and should remain so even with an absolute majority (more than 50% of responses) among champions (66.5%) and tower plates (82.3%). While the public is more perplexed by the neutral objective bonuses, the result still underlines the status quo, with 39.8% of players believing nothing needs to change. In addition, players in this category who give no meaning to the question are relatively numerous, with 16.1% of players not choosing one of the answers offered, or at least three times more in the other categories.

Game mechanics

In terms of damage, most players consider it too high. This is a point of view shared by all ranks except the adversary, where the results are perhaps more mixed. If the answer that says the damage is too high right now is the most chosen, it is the only rank where the opposing players do not have an absolute majority with “only” 48%.

Mobility is also considered very high in most cases (59.6%). However, it should be noted and warned that unlike harm, the absolute majority in the response panel is more rarely achieved. Also, at both ends of the leaderboard (Iron, Bronze/Grandmaster, Challenger) the results were the most uncertain. Overall ratings for the upgrades are similar (55.7% of players rate them as strong), but this time the reviews are mixed in order. While 47% of the lowest ranked players think they are very strong, 60% rank higher. Contradictions are considered fairly balanced across all elos.

As for the dragons, the results agree. Fire Spirits and Hextech are strongest for most players, and Mountain Dragon is popular with Grandmasters and Challengers alike. The spirit, on the other hand, is the weakest of the cloud spirits, and its rank doesn’t matter.
