According to feedback posted on social media, patch 12.10 has been well received. Riot Games has announced that this patch is just the beginning of the big changes they want to make to the game, and following a change to the overall mechanics, champions and items will be customized for each situation. 12.11 keeps this promise, 29 champions change for better, for worse and above all, to give us the worst.

Champion Changes

  • Interim Champions: Xin Zhao, Nunu, Ryze, Taric, Rakan, Samira, Caitlyn, Aphelios, Tahm Kench, Irelia, Gragas, Lee Sin, Tryndamere, and Sylas
  • Nerfed Champions: Lillia ball, Wukong, Master Yi, Swain, Taliyah, Gwen, Kayn Rhaast (red), Brand, Kog’Maw, Rengar, Veigar, Senna and Olaf ball
  • Fixed: Fizz and Zeri

Some changes were obvious. Wukong was extremely strong at the outposts for a few patches (and the divine slayer didn’t help calm him down), deviations had already been found in Swain by the time of 12.10 release. In contrast, Ryze’s soloQ win rate has only been down for a few weeks, while Taric’s has been down since 12.10. So it’s no surprise that these champions have changed. The Olaf, Kane, and Lilia cases will be interesting because the goal here is only to reduce their power in certain situations. To see if these changes will be successful, if further corrections of these characters are needed.

General changes and paragraphs

There is no list here as the general direction of the patch is quite clear although the exact changes are not provided. Magi’s healing legendary items are a bit overkill, while others are balanced to make her stronger and more appealing. Many items for AD killers will also be replaced. According to Riot Games, the latest patch upset them and they’re not strong enough to be an attractive option today. These changes will probably be quite light as the publisher has confirmed that they don’t want to take over from 12.9. Therefore, it’s no surprise that this particular project continued in parts until the perfect formula was found. The studio also announced that it would be on the lookout for deadly items to avoid such items on other characters, such as bruises that aren’t intended to be lethal.

Bruises are also a bit to like, some items are too weak (Sterak tops the list), but Death Dance and Malmortius Mau are tight as they are strong. Items for tanks will also be improved because despite the changes in 12.10 this category is still very weak according to Riot.

League of Legends

Some general changes are also worth mentioning. The Lethal Speed rune will take damage from the outer turrets, which will be very high as well as nerfed. The bleeding system will also be regulated. For now, the ADCs seem to be for anyone who just modded one of their items: Kraken Slayer.

Other Riot Games champions: Janna, Singed, Trundle, Shivana, Mordekaiser, Ivern, Renekton, Soraka, Alistar. If they haven’t changed this patch, it’s either because the Riot teams haven’t had time to test the proposed changes, or because changes to some objects must have already affected them and the team await their evolution by then. Make any necessary adjustments (so we’ll have to live with Morde Jungle for a patch or two).
