The LFL Spring Split didn’t particularly smile on Team Oplon. The team finished last in the LFL with just 2 wins and 16 losses. But the Spartans didn’t have the last word, and at the end of the build they decided to put small plates inside the glories to make the same success in Soulcalibur 6 live in League of Legends. (We might be exaggerating a bit, we don’t know if the team will be able to win the Oplon world title in LoL as opposed to fighting game success).
return of the old
Sweden’s Twiizt is one of the two players announced. This won’t be his first deal with the outfit, as he played for them last year when the team was in Division 2. The player was later promoted to midfield after the team allowed Oplon to win the Division 2 summer season as well. As a promotional game to leave the Premier LeagueThe tweet had gone to other horizons. He approached his territory and joined the X7 as backup support. A new adventure has begun with a new job…
The X7 ultimately did well in the 2021 Spring Split, finishing second in the Nordic League regular season, winning the playoffs and top 8 in EUM. It’s just that Twiizt has been on the bench for most of the season and the player no doubt wants to show his support. It’s hard to imagine what his full potential is, but between his performance last season and that of Cassing who benefits from the change of position, Twiizt stands out as one of the players to watch this summer. A European NA team player
The second recruit of the Oplon team is Shernfair in the jungle. Originally from Malaysia but raised in Australia, Shernfair has already made history in the professional world of League of Legends. He started his career in 2014 when he replaced Dire Wolves. The team weren’t yet widely known, even locally (they were in the Oceania region before dominating in 2016 and 2018), but Shernfair stood out. He managed to sign a contract with Vortex, which plays in NA League 2. The player failed to prove his level, received a ban from competition for elobosting. When his ban ended in 2016, Shernfair joined a new team: The Astral Authority, for which he had qualified in NACS.
Despite the challenges, Shernfair proved he could pull it off. He temporarily left North America to return to Dire Wolves, where he joined MSI and Worlds in 2017 and 2018. After this period, he returned to play in NA, specifically in the Team Liquid and C9 academies. He was unable to play in the LCS teams and decided to return to Europe with the Oplon team. Known to be an aggressive forester, prefers selection. If Mayonnaise gets Team Oplon, Schernefire could be an element that propels the team into another dimension.
