LoL: the champion who scored the most in the MSI finals

9 years. It took a long time for the RNGs to get their revenge on the Season 3 World Cup Finals. To achieve this feat, their best virtual ally was Lysandra. However, the Ice Wizard was not always with them during this match. Find out how this champion impacted the most important game of 2022 (ahead of the World Finals).

He felt that Lisandra was the most effective champion in the final, while the latter paradoxically started without him. For the first game, T1 decided to use a poke and skirmish strategy with three characters (Azir, Kate, Jesse) and two ranged capable champions, which disrupted their position (Morgana, Nocturne). RNGs challenged this strategy with strong participation (Gallio, Nautilus, Viego, Gwen). T1 couldn’t beat their opponent and although the Koreans started the match well, the Chinese won this match through team fights.

For the second round, they logically updated the composition based on a heavy engagement, despite the banning of RNGs, Nautilus and Gallio. Only the T1s didn’t let them be cheated twice. Of course, they leave the composition, whose main purpose is to fight first, but with Vukong and Lisandra, who are tasked with preventing the RNGs from being knocked down in battle, they hold the answers to keep them busy. This strategy works pretty well, but within 22 minutes he will discover two wins over the RNGs Oner and Zeus. The Chinese are in a hurry and it looks like they could get back into the game…but Faker didn’t get it. He had a massive turnout, allowing himself and Gumaius to kill four RNG players, robbing them of their chance to win this round.

Will Kenneth be able to face Lysandra?

the magician’s answer to the magician

In Game 3, the RNGs respond by accepting Lysandra. The T1s try to find an answer with Kenen, but Xiaohu only needs two steps to seal the game. Originally held at 6 minutes, the RNG mid laner was moved from level 6 to Faker’s Ahri. With the help of Wei and his ultimatum, the LPL players die, the three-time world champion left unanswered. Although this action does not bring much in terms of gold or spin, it does mark the start of the RNG snowball. When their captains clash, the message for the T1s is clear: this match is going to be difficult. Xiaohu pulled the final nail out of the coffin 8 minutes into the game. The battle takes place in the Herald and Xiaohu manages to turn invisible. He finds a great interaction allowing RNG to kill 4 opposing players 4v5 for GALA to also accumulate bot resources. While it didn’t really seal the game, this action netted over 3K gold in RNG, which is huge at this stage of the game.

Despite her influence in the previous two rounds, Lysandra was neither banned nor selected in the fourth round. The latter is completely dominated by T1s which are doing two everywhere. As Faker chooses Ahri, Xiaohu turns to Lysandra for the final fight. He couldn’t find the three-time world champion’s save and would further delay the Wei/Xiaohu duo who would kill him twice before the 6-minute match. In every game she was selected, Lisandra was one of the driving forces behind the victory. The champion was already in the competition, so his appearance was no surprise, but his impact was crucial throughout this final, whether on the action of the matches or on the general rhythm of the matches.
