Details of the League of Legends MSI 2022 qualifying stage have been released. The schedule, venue and matches for the semi-finals and finals of the tournament have been announced.

This year, four teams qualified for the qualifying round. The first game will see League of Legends Pro League (LPL) Kingdom of China Never Surrender (RNG) take on North American team Evil Geniuses (EG). This means that the second round of the semi-finals will see the reigning South Korean champion T1 against their longtime rivals G2 Esports.
After completing both semi-finals, the winning teams will face off on May 29 to determine the eventual winner of MSI 2022. According to the Rumble stage, RNG holds the highest position with eight wins and only two losses. G2 Esports has the lowest record ever with five wins and five losses.

The qualification phase will take place at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) in Busan, South Korea. Fans will be able to stream games live on Riot Games’ official Twitch, the Youtube channel, and Riot Games’ LoLEsports website. A match will be played each day at 10:00 CET. Players who missed live matches will be able to watch full matches and clips on LoL Esports VOD and Highlights on Youtube.
