How to fix the “Reversal of Progress” error message in League of Legends?

The League of Legends subreddit page is populated with players asking the same question: Why is my game giving me the “Cancel Progress” message?

Over the past week, many people have posted a message claiming that they were getting the “Undo Progress” message on the League of Legends subreddit even though they hadn’t done anything to justify the punishment. This does not give players a chance to progress through difficulties and infinities.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a definitive answer on how to handle these “progress has been rolled back” messages, a lot of players were getting them. Riot has yet to officially explain why so many people are receiving messages for no reason. However, all you can do is contact Riot Support and give them a game ID to see if they can fix the problem. To get the Game ID, go to Match History and look at the top of the screen. It lists the map of the game, the type of game, the duration of the game, the day it was played and finally the game ID for the specific match.
