Riot Games is bringing a giant upgrade to Elemental Rifts, new skins, gameplay changes, and more legends.
There’s a lot to cover in Patch 3.2, from champion changes to events. After the release of the final patch on April 19, not too long ago, fanbases were engaged with these new features. There’s even more happening now.
Elemental Rifts returns in a limited game mode that got players very excited. On May 16, the League of Legends designer discusses feedback and concerns. Riot Games wrote, “They will be considering all of your feedback on our previous testing and what to expect from Elemental Rift for the remainder of our time and wave refresh.” The Elemental Rift part of the patch notes will be available on May 17.

Here are some other Elemental Rifts-related features straight from Riot Games:
• After killing the first dragon, the terrain will change.
• Individual elemental dragons always give an elemental effect:
• Infernal Dragon: 4% adaptive attack damage or skill power.
• Ocean Dragon: loses 3% health every 5 seconds.
• Mountain Dragon: grants 6% armor and magic resistance.
• When your team kills their second dragon instead of Dragon Spirit, base effects can be queued. • This will increase each dragon’s buffer power by 1.5-2 times. For example:
• Infernal Dragon: 4/6/8% adaptive attack or power damage.
• Ocean Dragon: loses 3 / 4.5 / 6% health every 5 seconds.
• Mountain Dragon: 6/9/12% armor and magic resistance.
• Elder Dragon will spawn after 20 minutes with a 4 minute re-timer.
New skins include Sandstorm Ekko, which will be released on May 12, while High Noon Ashe, High Noon Irelia, and High Noon Thresh will be revealed on May 19. Ekko has an outlet and Riot announced it. “Intriguing the rugged streets of Zun, Echo manipulates time to turn any situation to his advantage. Using his invention, Z-Drive, he explores the possibilities of becoming reality to create the perfect moment.
Additionally, gameplay changes include items, eight new runes, and rune changes. For more details on this update, check out Riot Games’ report here.
