The game must be constantly adapted to remain at the top of the most played games in the world for more than a decade. League of Legends and the approach to the game change with each new season. Not every idea survived for 10 years. Some have been modernized while others have been abandoned along the way for various reasons. However, quitting does not necessarily mean disappearing from the game, but still refers to those stats that are hidden from players.
A relic from Season 1
The game was so different in its early days that the current player was in danger of disappearing into the 2011 slot (and vice versa). Fixed some existing mechanics for frustrations, such as the Cloak of Good Hope’s ability to stack damage and the ability to kill players who couldn’t retaliate by taking advantage of certain champions’ invisibility (i.e. i.e. Evelyn). the roses look small. Joker. This can sometimes lead to some fun buildings, but for some players it’s not that meager. We can for example cite the famous Bankplank, where Gankplank only passively edits the objects to which gold is given and then works for 30 minutes before destroying the game if it has not yet disappeared.
Among what might be considered a curiosity today about the history of the game, Dodge’s stats are high. Initially, only one item was used: Tabi Ninja, which offers a passive chance to parry massive attacks. Suffice to say that the stats are not very interesting because they are presented on a single object, but other than that, only one champion has used this stat in his spells throughout the game: Jack. A few seasons later, Riot Games updated Jax and Tabi, and those evade stats were gone. Anyway, we thought until we found out it’s still there, but it’s set to 0 for all champions.
Reasons for its existence
The first idea that comes to mind is the game code. It is possible that the attack resolution was originally designed to capture this data. Removing it completely can lead to bugs that take months of fixing and incredible effort on Riot Games’ part., although it’s easier to set its value to zero. Additionally, Jack continues to use these stats with his counterattack (E).
It is also possible that it will continue to be used in other modes than the classic League of Legends. For example, DoomBots can passively receive these stats and have X% chance to prevent a major attack. Finally, the avoidance remains in TFT. It looks like the game is still getting a lot of LoL animations and it wouldn’t be surprising if the same code was used in Minor Legends battles. In this particular case, removing League of Legends may also affect another Riot Games game.
