Teamfight Tactics World Championships This weekend patch 12.8 is quite small compared to previous patches, the developers are hoping not to make too drastic changes to official tournaments in just a few days. We’re still seeing some pretty noticeable tweaks in this patch and we’ll move on to those.
This week’s patch ties in slightly to changes made to keep the meta stable for pros and regular participation when training for the G&G Championship or just leveling up.

At first glance, you won’t see many changes in this patch. The most affected properties: Chemtech, Enchant, Hextech and Syndicate received buffs, while Mutant and Scrap received nerfs. Chemtech’s buff came after the nerf was hit hard to reduce damage, so this time he’s taking the buff for max health regen. The Syndicate feature also got good crits, armor buffs, and great resistances, increasing the 7 Syndicate bonus from 50% to 55%.
Scrap nerfs can be important in determining scrap viability. Reduced the amount of shield assigned to the component from 20/40/60 to 20/30/50. The shield was one of the great virtues of scrap building, especially in kits like the Scrap Striker. You can read the full patch notes here.
Minor tweaks to the slow attack speed of many champions. Some champion effects like Ashe and Zilean increase attack speed, while others like Ekko decrease it. Many 4-prize champions have garnered fans in hopes that they are worth eating in-game.
