GTA 6: New System Wanted: Fans Create Advanced System
Where did the idea come from? The idea for the revamped Wanted system came from a Reddit dessert called u/A_Guy_Named_Matthew. Zarif explains that the Obviously Wanted system in GTA 5 is not realistic and complex enough. Chaotic chases are fun, but devoid of challenges. Therefore, he came up with the idea for a more advanced Wanted system for GTA 6.
The Wanted system should work like this: The new Wanted system builds on the bounty approach of Red Dead Redemption 2. Currently the system of choice in GTA is that increasingly serious crimes will only increase the number of agents chasing players. FIB and NOOSE special units are only used as heavier opponents. It’s about changing the desired system for GTA 6 into a sleek one.
In GTA 6, the police have to pay more attention to the participants, mainly through crimes. Depending on the dangerousness of the crimes committed, other units will be deployed. It should also have realistic investigations where different units investigate crime scenes and then find players. A_Guy_Named_Matthew also wants police and other authorities to be able to use surveys to find homes etc.
