Rockstar Games will likely follow a different path with GTA 6. The company and the community need to be politically correct. Will GTA 6 wake up now?
New York – GTA is probably one of the most popular series in the gaming world. GTA 5 still has around 100,000 players on Steam every day. Even fans are eagerly awaiting the latest rendition of the series. The GTA series has always been a satirical representation of the United States, where players can take on the role of a high-profile thug. Women mostly played sex object roles, and Rockstar Games didn’t pay much attention to politically correct behavior. But that might change with GTA 6 when the developer wants to create a whole new corporate civilization.

GTA 6: politically correct expansion from Rockstar Games
This should change: Rockstar Games produced one of the best-selling games of all time with GTA 5. It has sold over 165 million copies since its release in 2013. Part of the recipe for success was giving away kicking and swearing at everything and everyone. However, Rockstar Games can ignore it as it is a drastic change within the company. As Bloomberg magazine reports, this will have a significant impact on the expansion of GTA 6. Rumor has it that GTA 6 will feature a female for the first time.
Also note that GTA 6 jokes are not aimed at certain minorities. Rockstar Games has already removed homophobic expressions from its latest community commentary in GTA 5. The company even canceled a community mode it had planned for 2020 after George Floyd was charged by a police officer. In this game, players divide into good and bad teams and fight against each other. However, Rockstar Games execs found this feature problematic at a time of great mistrust among the police.
However, some Rockstar Games employees doubt that a game similar to GTA 5 will come out with the company’s new releases and directions. But exactly how this retargeting will affect GTA 6 remains unclear.
GTA 6: Rockstar Games Support Terms of Service
The Rockstar Games story looked like this: Rockstar Games has been repeatedly criticized for the company’s internal work environment as being a burden on some employees. Over time, several managers have been fired for finding employees offensive or difficult. During the pandemic, employees even received various cooperation packages and bonuses. And working conditions for the GTA 6 expansion would have improved.
There are no critical moments for GTA 6: In so-called “flexible” hours, employees can now arrange working hours with the exception of an elderly person. Rockstar Games even promised that there would be no critical moments when expanding GTA 6. This may even explain why GTA 6 has been expanding for so long. Employee mental health has long been a priority for the company, and Rockstar Games is committed to building a healthy corporate civilization moving forward.
