GTA 5 on Gameboy: the German open-world giant brings to the old handset

Rockstar Games has looked at GTA 5 for all sorts of consoles, but a Nintendo Gameboy isn’t one of them. A German is still playing with it.

The publisher seems to have taken notice and continues to publish the title on all possible platforms. The GTA series game developers had long since severed their relationship with Nintendo. Now a modder has let you distribute GTA 5 on Gameboy, as well as PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

GTA 5 also on PS5 and Xbox Series X: Rockstar Games achieved uncompromising cult status with the release of GTA in 2013 at the latest. The worldwide game quickly became the most successful console game of its time.
