Season 3 of Season 2 of Fortnite has just started and rumors are multiplying around the next episode of Battle Royale. Indeed, during Unreal Engine 5’s final exposure, several observers in the Fortnite files noted: dark Vador. The cult character from the Star Wars saga could make an appearance in Fortnite in the game’s next season. All of this, of course, should be taken with a grain of salt, but anything new will boost the herd. Fans, especially since the theory is confirmed by several other leaks.
Fortnite and Star Wars, a collaboration that is not new
The world of George Lucas had set foot on the island of Fortnite in the past. In December 2019, a live event featuring Star Wars starships and characters was held at Risky Reels on the island. The Star Wars costume cohort then transitioned from Battle Royale. Kylo Rennie, Finn, Ray… the list goes on with a few gliders like the W-wing or the Millennium Falcon. !
In terms of gameplay, Fortnite featured vintage lamps that served as collectible weapons or ammo. However, many early fans were somewhat disappointed with this crossover as it didn’t include the franchise’s most famous characters. The presence of Darth Vader next season should therefore satisfy the second dissatisfied with the first collaboration.
Light swords to remove dust
Darth Vader’s new costume hypothesis shouldn’t be accepted as it wasn’t the first Star Wars item to appear on dataminers’ radar in recent weeks. Since a few patches already, the lamps seem to undergo changes in the files. And even with the latest 20.10 released this week, Sabers still has new visual effects. Why bother with Epic Games recycling these vehicles if you want to leave them in the closet?
Especially since May 4 (May 4), the date of Star Wars celebrations, is fast approaching.. If you’re a Star Wars fan, keep an eye out for Fortnite in the coming weeks. We never know.
