Fortnite’s long-awaited Dragon Ball Z crossover will launch on August 16. But when does the action start?

After tons of rumors, leaks, and fanfare, Dragon Ball characters are finally coming to Fortnite. Arguably one of the most anticipated collabs in Fortnite history, fans can’t wait to see what’s to come. Thanks to some previous leaks, we can assume that characters Goku and Vegeta will appear as skins, while Beerus, the God of Destruction, will be the third character on the list. A fourth undisclosed character was also set to make an appearance. Leaks hinted that it would be a female character – most likely Bullma.

There is only one day left in the collaboration, but when does it all begin?

Considering it’s Tuesday August 16th and it’s going to be a great collaboration, we can expect the Fortnite servers to experience some downtime for the next update. Although Epic Games has yet to announce a time, the break typically begins at 3:00 a.m. ET and ends at 9:00 a.m. ET.

If Epic sticks to this schedule for future updates, the Dragon Ball Z collaboration will likely kick off at 9 a.m. ET when the servers are back up and running.
