How to fix Fortnite error “Profile request failed”.

Have you had a “failed profile request” in your last Fortnite matches? The latest Fortnite update usually causes the error, so updating your router probably won’t fix it.

If you haven’t updated Fortnite, make sure your game is up to date. To check if your game is up to date, open the Epic Games launcher and navigate to the settings icon. Make sure the “Auto Update” box is selected so your game will download and install automatically whenever there is a new update. If that doesn’t work, try the next tip.

Players shared that deleting their Fortnite account from their Google account fixed the error. To unlink your accounts, open the Epic Games launcher and go to the “Account Settings” tab and unlink your account from Google.
