One of the new challenges is that players searching for artifacts and relics on the island lead to a secret door hidden near the main room of Shuffled Shrines. Here’s how to find the door and enter.
Your target for this quest is the Shuffled Shrines, one of the few shrines on the island. The temple in question is located to the left of Jones. Once there, you will need to unlock the door to the main room. The door is on the ground floor, a face carved into the rock of one of the central main buildings.
There’s now a puzzle to unlock to unlock the door – and you’ll need to wander around the POI a bit to get all the information you need. The chamber door opens with rotating totems to reveal the correct symbol. Now the symbols will be different every game, so there’s no way to tell which one you need.
Instead, you have to go to several different areas around the POI and search for broken totems to reveal the correct symbols. These broken totems will always be in the same place and will always correspond to the location of the same symbol to open the door.
- underground in the southwest – This is the leftmost symbol of the totem.
- At the corner of the northwest building – Second to Totem.
- Under the red awnings of the north – Second from the right for the totem.
- To the northeast, under the wooden walkways – All the way to the right for the totem.
Go to the door with the correct symbols in your hand and enter them in the correct order. Considering the pitch will be quite hot with other players, this can be difficult. Be careful and watch out for the arrow trap when you enter – don’t step on the brown tiles.
Obtain the Golden Tomato Head idol to complete the quest.
