Regardless of the current Fortnite season, Epic Games always asks us to use the “melee weapon” to overcome traditional challenges. In Chapter 3, Season 3, for example, we are asked to move three moving stones by clicking on them with a weapon.
Melee weapons here actually refer to your cutting/gathering tools. All you have to do is hit the moving rocks with a reaper. Then, once you understand what the term means, there’s no such thing as rocket science.
Wide variety of melee weapons
Melee weapons can take different forms in Fortnite. Staffs, staves, swords, bats, axes… Epic Games tried almost every weapon imaginable to invent their cosmetics.
Note that your max skin has no effect on completing challenges. All of them will work for the proposed challenges.
Where to find The Rolling Stones in current season 3?
You will find several moving rocks In the mountains surrounding La Bamboo. Remember that a rolling boulder is a huge spherical stone that stands on hills and has the ability to fall down the slopes and destroy anything in its path when pushed.
If you need to deal damage with a melee weapon, I recommend going to the last location served by the Battle Bus (in the water), where you often drop AFK players for free.
