A new malfunction with accepted friend requests is plaguing Fortnite PC players. Here’s how to fix it.
The time limit, which appears to be PC-specific, requires players to be given a full friend list from the start of the game. As VYC Gaming explains in the YouTube video below, “If you have a thousand friends …it gets them back.”
The flaw has not been made public by Fortnite staff, but it is clear that they are concerned about the fix. Posted on Trello board, Twitter @Fortnite_Status As for the new issues they track v21.00, the bug is second on the list of “basic general issues”.
As of this writing, there doesn’t appear to be a way to fix the flaw where players rely on Epic Games intervention.

The bug is currently unresolved, but should be soon. PC gamers with lots of friends who might be particularly annoyed by this delay might have time to dust off the old console for a while, if it still has it.
