Dragon Rune Lance is a harvesting tool used by players to collect building materials. According to Fandom’s Fortnite wiki page, Episode 3: Season 3 is part of the Dragon Rider bundle and is available with the 950 V-Bucks Battle Pass.
A YouTube video posted on June 11 by famed Fortnite developer GKI clearly shows how Dragon Rune Lance gives players an unfair advantage.
The video, with over 500,000 views to date, clearly demonstrates that sprinting while pressing a line in-game allows the player to move silently, making it harder for other nearby players to find them. .
In other words, this spike can give the player the ability to sneak up on other players. It should also be noted that the player driving the tool is also more vulnerable to stealth attacks, as they cannot see the footstep icons of potential attackers while piloting the tool.
While this is undoubtedly a defect and not a feature of Dragon Rune Lance, it would be interesting to see if this will have a positive impact on Lance purchases in the 2 days between the release of the GKI video on June 11 and the announcement. It was canceled on June 13.
