Fortnite’s new quick fix for Season 3 features some balance tweaks to this season’s most popular weapon.
Fortnite, Chapter 3, Season 3: Vibin’ is doing well. From new POIs to completely new mechanics, players had a hard time last season. So far we’ve seen the Ballers return, explored Reality Seeds, and even climbed a mountain and engaged in battle.
But at the start of each season, you’ll need to make a few adjustments along the way to make sure everything runs smoothly. This latest patch is meant to do just that, some balance changes to a few weapons. Here’s what you need to know.
according to a manager Fortnite Status Twitter AccountThe following balance changes have been made to the weapon:
We made some balance adjustments today:
✅ Dual Rifle – Increased pellet damage, minimum grain count, accuracy and maximum damage limit
Mer Hammer AR – Reduced recoil
Rik Striker Burst AR – Reduced damage and increased first bullet return
Combat SMG – Reduced Damage pic.twitter.com/iw6PkOaLxd

Those frustrated with how quickly they get some of their weapons, like the Striker Burst AR, will be happy to see those nerfs kick in. The full change of meaning hasn’t emerged, but it’s unclear how effective those nerfs will be.
