So where has Fortnite gone? After Saturday night’s “The Impact” event, the game was reduced to an endless splash screen. Epic Games already used the same process for last season. The game is unavailable for a few hours but don’t worry: next season will start well This week, June 5, after work from 9 p.m.
When will we be able to play Fortnite again?
As of this writing, Epic Games has yet to announce the timing of the maintenance or the start of the season (i.e. a return to normal for the servers). However, going by the previous seasons, it can be safely assumed that episode 3 will start to take care of the layout of season 3. This Sunday, June 5, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m..
Anyway, it will take several hours to pass this annoying splash screen.
Black hole, second edition?
During the transition from Episode 1 to Episode 2, Epic Games voluntarily canceled Fortnite for a few days. Fortnite’s “end” made headlines in all media around the world, even though it was edited by Epic, so fans were worried.
It’s unlikely to happen again here and it shouldn’t take more than 12 or 15 hours for the server to stop and always, according to the world’s most trusted data miners.
