What is the Fortnite Creative Mayhem event?

Love is in the air with Fortnite’s latest Creative Mayhem event. But what is it ?

If you’ve been featured in Fortnite or signed up for the community in the past few days, you’ll likely have a lot to say about the Creative Mayhem gaming event. Other than the possible Valentine’s Day topic, you might not know much about the content.

Creative Mayhem sees players trying to quickly beat the Creative map. Once time runs out, player submissions are reviewed to determine who qualifies for the main competition. Every Fortnite player has the chance to show off their spin skills, compete against some of their favorite Fortnite influencers, and try to reach the World Finals for $100,000.

How does it work and what should players know?

It is important to note that any Fortnite player can overcome this challenge. All they have to do is submit their best card time to the Creative Mayhem website for entry from February 7 at 9 a.m. ET through February 14 at 9 a.m. ET.

Simply registering on the site will unlock the Love Reigns emote. Those who play Creative Mayhem on the map for 30 minutes or more will unlock the Mace of Hearts Pickaxe Rewards bonus. The map is accessible from the Creative hub or under the code: 7266-3680-0768.

To pass the time, players must complete the following steps:

The top qualifiers will be invited to participate in the main Creative Mayhem event with the creators of their choice. Uploaded videos will be considered from February 15 to February 22 (inclusive).

Selected players will challenge eight of Fortnite’s influential players and their communities to determine the champion for their country or region. After qualifying, a developer and their community represent their region or country in a global final.
