Chica’s Icon Series set will be available in the Merchandise Store on Saturday, May 7 at 8 p.m.
“I am proud not only to be the creator of the content, but also of my identity as a Puerto Rican woman in the LGBTQIA+ community,” Chika said. “I wanted to be honest about who I was on my Fortnite board. I was able to build a great community in the Fortnite family and I can’t wait to share my team with everyone. I’m happy to be the first Latino to join the Icon series.
As for the cosmetic set, the default style includes five different Chica clothing styles, namely the Prismatic Streak style, the Royale Streak style, the Shades style, and the Hunter Mask style. The later set also includes Star Back Bling and Aida’s Edge Pickaxe, all with alt-style royal lines and a Pollo Dance feel.
Epic Games, in conjunction with Set, has appealed to players who want to get dressed up and stand out ahead of taking part in the Chica Cup on May 5. This is a great opportunity to unlock in-game items and Chica Was Here Spray.
Overall, Fortnite players seem to have a lot of new and exciting content to look forward to.
