Are you facing challenges in Fortnite? You are probably wondering what a “mantra” is.
Massive online games like Fortnite are always on the hunt for something new. Will there be a cycle of guns, changes in points of interest, or weekly and daily challenges? This week, players will encounter a task that asks them to damage an opponent within 10 seconds of booking. However, this simple challenge has discouraged many players.
What exactly is a mantra? And how do you do this thing? Here’s what you need to know.
Sheathing wasn’t always something Fortnite players could do. It even appeared as a feature at the start of the season after Epic Games removed the building. Several new parkour skills have been given to players to help them move around the island without the help of construction.
Even though the building is back in Fortnite, the mantle still exists. This means players must grab onto the ledge of a building or structure and pull themselves up. It’s that simple – you’ve probably come across it over the years as a mechanic with a number of RPGs.

Now that you know what a mantra is, you may be wondering how to do it. Jump to the rack while holding down the jump button. Your character should hold the ledge and raise their head.
This can be a bit tricky at first, especially in a 10 second challenge window. To help you get better distance, try running before jumping and try not to aim too high on the ledge.
To complete the weekly challenge, deal damage to the opponent as you know, then sprint to the ledge and mantle for 10 seconds. This will net you a net amount of XP.
