Is Miss Columbus in Fortnite? Well, they can come back.
Introduced in Episode 3: Season 1, Clombs were a species of wild animals resembling giant lizards. These friendly giants roam the island, offering items to anyone who gives them Clombers. Additionally, players can stand in the creature’s hole to be lifted into the air, allowing the glider to reposition and quickly escape.
In Season 1 Clombos can deal damage but never kill all the way. Instead, they become enemies and acid strike the player. Unfortunately, Episode 3: Season 2 saw Columbus’ Vault, which made their presence on the island rather fleeting.
But thanks to the latest leak, it looks like we could see Columbus return to Fortnite.
According to popular Fortnite publication HYPEX, Klombos plans to return next season. But this time they will be killed.
It looks like Epic Games is working with Clombo kills for a special type of meat and there are a number of loot drops that can be dropped. Consumables can be consumables, weapons or ammunition. HYPEX noted the addition of a new item called “NPC Meat”, which they claim is related to Colombo.

It’s unclear if these play blocks will be implicitly aggressive or if players should take the first step. The leak also doesn’t specify what NPC Meat will do, but it will likely be a salvage item or something players will enjoy.
As for when they will make Clombo’s final return, any guesses? Epic Games has a lot to offer Fortnite in the near future.
