The FIFA 22 Premier League season nominees have been announced. There are 40 nominees for this year’s Premier League TOTS, and they all feature some of the big names worth watching.
Nine defenders who voted for PL TOTS have been named and scattered along the backline. Here is the full list of TOTS Premier League Defenders nominees.

These defenders have defended their teams all year, contributing clean sheets, great ratings, and even playing in the backcourt for some. We have selected the following players for our Premier League TOTS predictions.
TAA, Van Dyke and Joao Cancello have been top performers in their respective positions over recent seasons and have gone from strength to strength for Liverpool and Manchester City this season. However, since Laporte is nominated in the Community TOTS and not in the Premier League TOTS, we will have to change the vote. Instead, we’ll be voting for Tottenham’s Christian Romero or Liverpool’s Joel Matip.
Matip has grown stronger at Liverpool in an injury-filled season which has helped them maintain their potential for the quarter-finals season. Romero has proven to be a worthy buy for Tottenham and has given Tottenham tremendous momentum and defense, so he’s also a great choice for Tottenham.
