FUT Captains was leaked on social media by numerous creators before EA Sports confirmed the event. EA Sports hosted an event around club and country captains and gave them great updates. The coolest feature of this event is that FUT Hero players have received updates to make them relevant again in the current meta. FUT Heroes was a new item added early in the play cycle that had little to do with the league players they represented.
Players who received an upgrade to Team 1 include Freddie Lungberg, Clint Dempsey and many more.
