After the FIFA 22 update temporarily unlocked FIFA 23 for players, leaked FIFA 23 ratings are now all over the internet.
Part of the excitement of FIFA’s annual release is the rankings announcement. Players want to know who got promoted, dropped, and who made the top 10. This year’s top 10 shows big changes in the top players in the world, if the leaks are to be believed. Especially those who are fans of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Here are the top 10 players in FIFA 23, according to an in-game screenshot taken by Twitter user TrustyFutTrader:
- Kylian Mbappe – ST/Paris Saint-Germain – 91
- Karim Benzema – Commercial / Real Madrid – 91
- Kevin De Bruyne – MC / Manchester City – 91
- Lionel Messi – AD / Paris Saint-Germain – 91
- Robert Lewandowski – ST/FC Barcelona – 91
- Cristiano Ronaldo – ST / Manchester United – 90
- Mohamed Salah – AD/Liverpool – 90
- Manuel Neuer – GK / FC Bayern Munich – 90
- Virgil van Dijk – CB / Liverpool – 90
- Thibaut Courtois – GK/Real Madrid – 90
Neymar Jr., Jan Oblak, Harry Kane and Marc-Andre ter Stegen were clearly out of the top 10. Ronaldo and Messi’s tally dropped by two points and their pace slowed considerably. It’s also surprising that no player has ever been rated 92 or higher, considering Messi was 93 and Lewandowski was 92 last year.
As mentioned, this is a leak and things may change before the game is released. But for now, players can start theorizing about teaming up with these new leaderboards.
FIFA 23 is released on September 30.
