FIFA 22 FUT Fantasy has been announced as the new Ultimate Team promotion releasing on March 18, following FUT’s anniversary.
FUT Fantasy is a brand new event and is set to replace the What If promotion in FIFA 21. Although the theme of the event remains a mystery, many members of the public and disclosure believe that the event can act as an event in direct. Content creator DonkTrading announced on Twitter that the promotion will run for two weeks and will include an updated What If promotion.

What If was a new promotion last year where players were first promoted and allowed to receive more updates based on their actual performance. Forwards and midfielders would receive updates if the player’s team scored certain goals in local league matches. The same goes for goalkeepers and guards if the gate is kept clean. An exciting promotion that is relatively popular.
It’s unclear what the updated version of FIFA 22 will look like, but at least it’s direct action. And given that FUT’s anniversary is a bit humbling, fans are hoping the action will spread.
