EA Sports has released the latest FIFA 23 trailer detailing player and manager career modes. Career Mode is a popular feature in FIFA games that lets you control a player or the whole club as a manager, and it hasn’t changed much in recent years.

It looks like EA Sports has introduced a number of new features to Career Mode, including cutscenes, a new interface, and more. Here are all the new FIFA 23 career mode features announced.

For starters, the developers at EA Sports have introduced a new menu for player and manager career modes. The new menu transforms all important career mode features into a more organized menu. For example, the Scouts and Youth Academy features in the Transfers tab, while the My Pro menu in player career mode includes a new personality feature tab, player development, and other key mode features.

Playable highlights only allow you to play match highlights if you cannot play the full 90 minutes of football. This feature changes every game based on artificial intelligence; Therefore, you will likely get unique playable highlights in each game, allowing you to enter the game and change the outcome of games for your team.

Dynamic Moments include all new cutscenes and off-pitch action. The manager career mode now offers more stages for players to come to the club, including interviews and meeting new teammates and a new manager. Diving more into cutscenes is something the FIFA Career Mode community has long wanted, and it looks like EA is finally introducing more of the mode.

Player Personality is one of the last features available only in Player Career Mode. There are three new personality types:

Each individual can influence decisions made on and off the pitch, such as making the extra pass or shot needed to decide a game, or scoring a goal with an open teammate. There are also pitch options that change your personality, from buying a new sports car to visiting an injured teammate in the hospital.

New to the manager career mode is the ability to control clubs with a real manager from the world of football. Suppose you want to take control of Real Madrid and help them repeat it as Champions League champions next season, but you don’t want to sack Carlo Ancelotti. You can now take control of Madrid and manage the club as Ancelotti himself. It’s unclear how many Real Managers are available in this mode, but the following managers are featured in the trailer:

You can also use genuine managers at other clubs, including established clubs; this will give you new insights into the performance of managers in new locations. If you want to bring Pep Guardiola back to Barcelona or Bayern Munich as a manager, you can do so uniquely in FIFA 23’s Career Mode.

The new Transfer Rating feature aims to improve the Manager’s Career Mode player experience during transfer windows. Once the transfer is done, the game trailer will show a new screen after the player agrees showing the new transfer and also gives you a score for the transfer. It is intended to show how this player can fit into your team and what value you gain or lose for the price you pay.

This can be useful for players trying to understand the value of player prizes and how factors such as player form, age, and prestige can affect their prizes.
