FIFA 22 FUT’s anniversary was announced on March 2, the release date was confirmed on March 4 through the FIFA Ultimate Team splash screen.
The FUT Anniversary is one of the most anticipated events of every game cycle. The event marked Ultimate Team’s anniversary in FIFA, and past topics have included location controllers, skill upgrades movement / weak legs, and more. Additionally, EA Sports celebrates FIFA’s past title by releasing daily SBCs of players who often return to the game.

The card design has a mostly purple theme with 13 raised numbers to celebrate FIFA Ultimate Team’s 13th anniversary. The map design isn’t as boring as Future Stars, nor are the birthday cake themes from previous games.
It is unknown if there will be two teams in this promotion, but this year it is expected to take into account most of the big promotions where the two teams are at different times. It’s also unclear what the official theme for this year will be. We haven’t had a rally focused on location changes, so maybe this time EA Sports will feature it in FIFA 22.
