Players are wondering if they can play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on the Steam Deck.
The Steam Deck is Valve’s new portable gaming device. It is optimized for your Steam library as all games will appear there just like on the computer. There’s an official docking station for sale separately, which will connect you to external displays, wired internet and more. The sleeper will be available for purchase in late spring 2022.
For $399, you can get the Steam Deck with 64GB of storage and a carrying case. The $529 Steam Bundle is also available with 256GB, faster storage, a carrying case, and a Steam Community Profile Kit. For $649, the Steam Deck will have 512GB, the fastest storage, a premium glass cover, a carrying case, a virtual keyboard theme, and a Steam Community profile kit.

Currently CS:GO has not passed all compatibility checks. Within the next two months, we expect CS:GO to check its compatibility and be optimized for Steam Deck because it’s such a popular game on their platform.
Games that pass this compatibility test include: Elden Ring, Overcooked 2, Cuphead, NBA 2K22, Risk of Rain 2, God of War, And Stardew Valley. All of these games are popular with many gamer demographics, giving many people a reason to invest in Steam Deck.
