French CS:GO player Richard “Shock” Papillon said last night that his sports team is leaving Team Vitality.
Often considered one of the best professional CS:GO players in the history of the game, Shox has been part of Team Vitality since 2019, when he joined G2 Esports. Announcing their departure from the team last night on their official Twitter page, the team said: “You were part of the creation of our legend, we shared many great moments from 2019, the chapter is closed, but your name will remain engraved on Vitalia. History.”

Shock has played for many of the top teams in his competitive CS:GO career. The actor was part of Team Vitality and G2 Esports, as well as VeryGames, Epsilon, and EnVyUs. However, the next one has yet to be announced. Recent predictions prevented him from moving to Team Liquid. This step will be the first for Shock to join the international team.
The pro helped Team Vitality take third place at the BLAST Premier: Global Finals 2021 in Copenhagen, losing to Gambit Esports for second place and Natus Vincere for second place.

Shock said goodbye to the team on Twitter: “For these 2 beautiful years together, @TeamVitality, thank you to all my teammates who lived the adventure of living together, we created very good memories and I will keep them together.”
Shock’s departure from Team Vitality was followed by coach Remy “XTQZZZ” Kuanyan, which the team announced on December 21.
